Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer received a balance tweak to the cost of some weapons for the Warzone game types. 343 Industries is giving players a chance to utilize and guns like the Covenant Carbine and the SAW without blowing all their hard earned REQ Points. Meanwhile, a price new REQ Pack went on sale Wednesday for those looking to get all that fancy armor.

Stating that the cost of the weapons was too high, the price for spawning in all but one was reduced by a single REQ Point. The Covenant Carbine cost dropped two points, which should make it more viable in the early parts of Halo 5 Warzone matches.

CARBINE

  • Carbine: 4 -> 2
  • Rain of Oblivion: 4 -> 3
  • Blood of Suban: 5 -> 4

SUPPRESSOR

  • Suppressor: 2 -> 1

BOLT SHOT

  • Boltshot: 2 -> 1

LIGHT RIFLE

  • Light Rifle: 5 -> 4
  • Barbed Lance: 5 -> 4
  • Dying Star: 6 -> 5

SAW

  • Saw: 5 -> 4
  • Appetite for Destruction: 6 -> 5

343 Industries also announced the Arena REQ Bundle is coming to Halo 5 REQ Store as well as the Xbox Store on February 16. The pack costs a whopping $24.99 and will unlock randomized armor, visors, and weapon skins along with a greater change at unlocking Mythic and Legendary items. It also guarantees the Mark V Alpha Armor set. Note though that weapons and vehicles are not included.

The Arena REQ Pack Bundle replaces the current Warzone REQ Bundle and can only be purchased once per Xbox LIVE account.
