Ratchet and Clank fans are in for a treat this year with a brand new movie and game coming for their favorite franchise. The Ratchet and Clank feature length movie is set for a release in April 2016. The movie sees our two heroes join forces with a team called The Galactic Rangers in order to stop alien enemy Chairman Drek from destroying the Solana Galaxy. We can expect there to be some humour, heroism and lessons about friendship on the way, as usual.
A new Ratchet and Clank game will also be released in April, which retells the meeting of the unlikely duo.
Insomniac games gave us the first look at the movie poster yesterday, via their Twitter account and Focus Features, the distributor of the film. The poster features some familiar faces as well as some new villains, with the tagline ‘Kick Some Asteroid’. Excellent stuff.
The duo seem perfect for a transition into animated films, with the trailer looking insanely promising- be sure to view it here.
The game will release on April 12th, while the movie will be out on April 29th.
