It’s a pretty good day to be a PC gamer, with Quantum Break announcing a Windows 10 version earlier today, and now Need for Speed PC being unveiled as well. The game, which served as sort of a reboot for the storied racing franchise, originally released last November for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version that we knew was coming, but that got delayed and never fully shown off. Now it is heading to PC, and it looks like EA and Ghost Games have really put a ton of work into making this the definitive racing experience from Need for Speed.

The trailer, which you can check out below, goes into great detail about what makes Need for Speed PC different from its predecessors. The video almost seems like a checklist for what PC gamers ask for in their ports, announcing 4K resolution, unlocked framerates, and special peripheral support for the game. All of the footage was captured in-game as well, so they’re really trying to court the famously picky PC gaming community. The game will even add in manual transmission support.

“We’re incredibly proud of how good Need for Speed looks visually, a sentiment we know many of you share, and we’re excited to show you the game running at a higher frame rate,” reads the announcement. “Seeing is believing so we’re hoping when you see and play Need for Speed running with an unlocked framerate and at a 4k resolution you’ll be just as excited as we are.”

Need for Speed hits PC on March 15th, though Origin Access members will get an exclusive preview period starting on the 10th. We previously reviewed the console version of the game, which you can read right here.
