Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is set to launch on both Xbox One and PC, though the PC version has just been delayed. The news was revealed by an interview that was posted on the Xbox website, which was given by executive producer Mark Coates.
Coates said the following in the interview: “Yes, we did announce a release date of March 11. But to make sure everyone who plays Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition gets a great experience regardless of platform, we’re taking a bit of extra time with the Windows Store and Steam versions.”
He goes on to say that, “We will launch the Xbox One version on March 11, and will update you soon on when the other versions will launch. We can’t wait to get the final game in the hands of players and see their reaction.”
As for what the Definitive Edition of Ori and the Blind Forest brings new to the table, it will come with a big new world called Black Root Burrows to explore, an expanded theatre mode, a new dash ability, a new attack and lastly an easy difficulty.
While Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will cost $19.99, those who already own the game will be able to upgrade for just $4.99.
