Bravely Second ups the job count compared to the first game, allowing you to choose from a whopping 30 jobs this time around that all feature their own unique stats and abilities. Some of them you’ll get by naturally progressing through the story, though others can only be acquired by taking on the game’s various side quests. Scroll down for a complete list of the game’s jobs and how to acquire them.

Keep in mind that many of the game’s side quests feature branching paths where you must decide on one job over the other. However, even though you’ll be missing out on the other jobs early on, the game will give you the chance to acquire all of the jobs you missed towards the end of the game.

Bravely Second certainly gives you a lot of options when it comes to the amount of jobs you have to play around with, but it also allows you to create hybrid classes out of them by being able to keep the learned abilities from other jobs you’ve used. All you have to do is place a job that you have acquired abilities from in the job command slot, and that will allow you to still utilize those abilities even though you are currently equipped with a different job. It’s all about finding the perfect kinds of jobs and abilities that work for you, so remember to experiment often to find your ideal combinations.

That will about do it for our job asterisks guide, but be sure to check out our other Bravely Second guides for even more help with the game.
