Dark Souls Dev From Software May Be Working On A VR Game

While From Software may be leaving the Souls series behind for a new IP, it looks like their next game could be taking things into virtual reality. The developer has had an unlisted video on their YouTube channel since last month, which shows off all of their games and what is coming next.

The most interesting part of the video comes right at the end, where it says “FromSoftware, Inc. Next Title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation VR…” Considering development on a new IP is already underway, it definitely isn’t out of the question that they could be testing the virtual reality waters. However, the above quote also suggests that they won’t be leaving consoles and PC out of the fun, either.

The Dark Soul series director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, recently said that he is done with the series and will be moving on to new things. While he didn’t share specific details on what his next game will be, he did suggest that it will be a big change from what he has done in the past.

Dark Souls 3 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
