The Steam Summer Sale is officially happening, and the date when things will kick off was revealed by none other than PayPal. They made the announcement on their Twitter page, though no other information on the sale was given.
According to PayPal, the sale will begin on June 23rd, making it not too long now until everyone can jump in on some big sales. Even though they did not reveal how long the sale would be running for, previous leaks suggest that it will come to an end on July 4th.
Last year’s Steam Summer Sale was a good one, with some games being discounted for as much as 90%. Many games will be discounted, but the biggest discounts come during the limited-time flash sales, so be sure to keep an eye out for those for even bigger savings.
It was recently revealed that competing PC gaming retailer GOG was launching a new promotion called GOG Connect, which allows you to get DRM-free versions of qualifying games in your Steam library. You can learn more about that and the games that are available by clicking right here.
