All this week Rockstar Games has been hyping up the announcement for Red Dead Redemption 2, and earlier this week they announced that they would be releasing the game’s first trailer on Thursday. Well, the trailer has come and gone, and unfortunately it didn’t give us much to go on.
The trailer essentially boils down to showing some very brief scenic shots and clips of the characters riding on horseback, ending with very brief narration. It didn’t give us any details on the gameplay, story or really much at all, but you can check it out for yourself at the bottom of this post.
“Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland,” reads the trailer’s description. “The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
Leading up to the trailer we knew that the game would be launching for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the Fall of 2017, and the new trailer once again confirms that. If any of you were hoping that they might add in a confirmation of a PC release (or even support for the Nintendo Switch), you’re out of luck.
