Fans have been clamoring for years to get Red Dead Redemption onto PS4 and PC, and now they have it. Of course, these things don’t always come in the exact way that we want, which might be the case here. Red Dead Redemption is being added to the PlayStation Now service, allowing gamers on PS4 and PC to play the game via streaming. The game will arrive on December 6th.
It won’t be alone either, with Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare coming along for the ride. Both titles will be playable via PlayStation Now, a service that streams games to compatible devices, rather than allowing you to install and play it on your own machine.
Hundreds of games are currently available on PS Now, including all-time greats like the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, and God of War. To play the games, you do need to have an active subscription, which you can currently get seven days of for free by clicking here.
Streaming of video games has become a new frontier of sorts. Many feel that it is the future of how we will consume our games, but there are certainly still technical hurdles to cross. I haven’t tried PS Now since it first released, so if any of you have tried it more recently, let us know how it went in the comments below.
