Famitsu has posted some new information about the “Road To Boruto” DLC that will be released soon for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4.
Famitsu (via Shonengamez), interviewed Hiroshi Matsuyama (CyberConnect2 CEO) and Miho Nakagawa (Bandai Namco Entertainment Producer) about the Road to Boruto DLC for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4.
Here’s what Matsuyama said about the DLC’s length: “Honestly, the story is around 3-4 hours. We have added a lot more volume to the game. Many sub-stories will appear across the Leaf Village and if you planned on a 100% completion including said sub stories, you are looking at a 10 Hour completion.”
Matsuyama also confirmed the DLC will have some new stuff not available in the vanilla version of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. He said: “We’ve added some new factors into the game to allow brand new options”.Â
In terms of what you can do in the story, he says that you will be able to play through the “Boruto –Naruto The Movie”. Not only will it include stuff in the movie itself, they also added some original content for variety. Even if you have seen the movie before, the DLC is adding something extra for the fans to see.
The two developers also confirmed that the Road to Boruto DLC was in development after the release of the actual Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 video game. This is nice to hear since many gamers get a bit angry if DLC is purposely “withheld” from the full game when it’s already been developed. The worse type of DLC is content already inside the disc itself…
They also confirmed that the Road to Boruto content will be the last for the Ninja series. They won’t be adding any DLC on top of more DLC. You can expect Road to Boruto to be out early next year.
