Capcom has brought to the stage of Tokyo Game Show 2017 a new trailer of Marvel vs. Capcom showcasing the new Monster Hunter character that will be available as part of the 2017 Character Pass. The hero is a female hunter expert at facing her enemies using a wide arsenal of weapons made from monster parts that includes huge swords, bows, and dual blades, allowing her to attack in short and long distances. This expertise on launching deadly attacks from every position makes her a deadly enemy to face.

The inclusion of the Monster Hunter character is an excellent chance to promote the upcoming Monster Hunter: World on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, a title that has also received a new trailer during TGS. Players who purchase the 2017 Character Pass will also unlock other fighters like Sigma, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom.

Here is an official overview of the character: “A monster hunter from Val Habar, the nomadic desert town that fused with Wakanda. Monster hunters are experts at tracking and taking down monsters using weapons and armor forged from monster scales and claws. Hunters typically go by their given name, but this legendary hunter simply goes by Monster Hunter. She has been appointed as Black Panther’s right hand, a new tradition established to create harmony in the newly-forced nation of Valkanda and strengthen bonds in the fight against Ultron Sigma.”

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is out now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Monster Hunter character will become available later in the year. Watch the trailer below.
