In just about a month, PC gamers will get their chance to experience Prince Noctis’ quest to reclaim his throne with the highest graphic quality possible. And from today, players can check out if their PC is up to the requirements of the game, as Square Enix has released a benchmark tool that scans your equipment and concludes what level of performance you can expect if you run the game on your computer.
The performance scores go from 0 to 12000 or greater, and they summarize the experience you can expect from Insufficient to Extremely High. A PC that meets the minimum requirements should be able to run the game at 720 resolution and 30FPS, and it will occupy 100Gb of memory in the hard drive. At maximum quality, it can reach 4K (2160p) and 30FPS or 1440p and 60FPS, with over 155Gb of hard drive space required. Click here to download the benchmark tool.
Additionally, Square Enix has also revealed the different bonus content awared to those who pre-purchase the game on each of the different digital outlets. Steam users will receive a set of in-game outfits based on the additional ‘Episodes’ starring Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis. Origin users will get a set of stickers for the Regalia, and pre-purchasing the game on the Windows Store grants customers with the Battle Upgrade Pack.
If you are looking for a more modest experience, remember that Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is launching on iOS and Android devices on February 9.
Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition launches for PC on March 6. Pre-purchase the game on Steam, Origin, or Windows Store.
