Jump Force Reveals DLC Schedule, Announces Kaiba as DLC Character

The Super Smash Bros. of anime, Jump Force, was released earlier this year, but Bandai Namco still has plenty of post-release plans coming up for the game. The DLC and update schedule was recently revealed, as well as one of the first characters coming to the game as DLC.

Bandai Namco recently posted on social media their schedule for Jump Force‘s post-launch content through August. Starting next month, the Clan Feature, Vertex Event, and some new Avatar costumes will be added to the game via free update. Then, in May, the paid DLC will start to kick in. Those who have purchased the game’s Characters Pass DLC pack will receive three new playable characters in May, one of which will be Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s Seto Kaiba. The other two DLC characters coming in May have yet to be revealed. May will also see the inclusion of Online Link Missions, the Raid Boss Event, and the World Tournament Stage via free update.

June and July will see the Arena Event and Tournament Event added to the game respectively, with both months also adding more Avatar costumes – all these additions will also be free. Then in August, the next batch of three DLC characters from the Characters Pass will be added to the game, as well as a free update including even more Avatar costumes and the Valley of the End stage. Beyond this, there will still be three more DLC characters from the Characters Pass to be added to the game at an unspecified date.

Jump Force is currently available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can also buy the Characters Pass, which includes nine DLC characters to be added to the game over the next several months, each of which comes with a set of Avatar skills and costumes.
