At Microsoft’s E3 2019 Press Conference a little bit more of Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed by CD Projekt RED with a couple of new cinematic trailers. During which, it was revealed that Keanu Reeves (John Wick, The Matrix) will be featured in the game as the key character Johnny Silverhand. During the show, it was revealed that Reeves will not only lend his appearance and voice to the game, but is providing full-body motion capture for the character.
Johnny Silverhand is one of the Cyberpunk characters called Rockerboys. These punk characters are musicians who use their music as a form of revolt. Silverhand, played by Reeves, was shown in the trailer with his silver cybernetic limb.
As if Cyberpunk 2077 needed more hype, Reeves inclusion in the RPG could vault the title even higher. At the show it was also revealed that the release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is less than a year away. The game will launch on April 16th 2020 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Today, June 9th, 2019, Cyberpunk 2077 goes on sale for pre-order with multiple editions up for order. The Collector’s Edition of the game includes a statue, steelbook case, art book and more. The game will be available for pre-order at multiple retailers. Head to the Cyberpunk 2077 Official Site to see all of them.
