Dota Underlords – How to Use Items

During Dota Underlords matches you will earn unique items during the loot phases of the match.  These are phases where you’ll fight CPU controlled opponents instead of the players you are playing against.  If you win these matches you will get to choose between three items at the end of it.  These items can then be slotted into your characters to make them more powerful.  Items can be used on one character and then be taken off an used again on others.  This guide will explain how to use items.

On the right side of the screen you will see small circular icons.  These are the items that you’ve collected during a match.  You can click on these items and drag them onto the character that you want to equip with that item.  Once you do that, you will then see another circular icon that tells you which character has what item equipped.

You can also see who is carrying what item by looking at the characters on the grid.  Above them will be a similar circular icon that shows which item they have equipped.  To use items, simply drag the item from the right side of the screen to the empty circle on the character you want to equip.  If they already have an item equipped it will automatically switch.  Items will be used automatically during a battle.

To remove an item from a hero unit you can click on the item on the right side of the screen and drag it to a place that doesn’t have a character.  This will remove it from all characters.
