The Nintendo Wii U is apparently easy to develop for, according to Team Ninja. “We’re finding it very similar to develop for the Wii U as for Xbox 360 and PS3.”

In an interview with Nintendo Gamer magazine, Yosuke Hayashi and Fumihiko Yasuda explained that the console is still very much a work in progress. As the developers have recieved kits and provided Nintendo feedback about the hardware, the company has made changes on the fly showing that they’re definitely open for feedback about the new tech.

Nintendo has yet to announce official specs for the upcoming “next generation” hardware, but rumors have the console ranging anywhere from slightly more powerful than the Xbox 360, to twice as potent.

Nintendo’s still withholding most of the pertinent details about the console, but has said that they aren’t getting into a hardware war with anyone with the Wii U.
