In the GTA V latest trailer for the next-gen upgrade, fans seem to have spotted a clue that hints at GTA 6 taking place in the late 90’s years.
The hint was spotted by Twitter user DANNYonPC as well as Reddit user u/docbicep. During the GTA V trailer, there is a Red car with a license place that just says “6ISAL890”.
While this car might seem a little harmless at the first glance, fans have been speculating whether the license plate actually spells out this particular phrase “6 Is A Late 90”. Which left fans speculating whether Rockstar is intentionally leaving this in to tease that GTA 6 will in fact be taking place in the late 90’s years.

Whether the rumors and speculation circling around the internet are at all true, it seems as though fans are understandably frustrated and are anxiously awaiting any news related to GTA 6. Rockstar has not confirmed nor denied anything related to GTA 6 so far.
The GTA V trailer was originally showcased during the PlayStation Showcase earlier this month, and it announced the delay of the GTA V remastered version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X to March of 2022.
It is worth mentioning that GTA fans all over the world seem to be overly exhausted of GTA V after it had been released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles and then re-released again for the PS4 and Xbox One. The PS5 trailer received over 100k dislikes and the overwhelming majority of comments are asking for a GTA 6 update.
GTA V is currently available for purchase on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S remastered version is releasing in March 2022.
