There are various things to do in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania like the main game, challenges, and even the party games. For the completionists or people who want a challenge, they’ll definitely look into something akin to pre-set challenges like trophies and achievements.

To the completionists and hardcore gamers, you’re in luck. This game, while bountiful with different modes and hundreds of levels, has a healthy amount of challenges to dig into. Instead, they are called ‘missions.’

What are missions in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania?

Missions is just another word for challenges. They’re interchangeable, but for the sake of this article, I’m going to call them missions. Think of missions like bonus objectives, incentives, or milestones throughout your sessions.

You’ll be familiar with easy ones like “Clear a stage”. That one is straightforward and will ease you into the missions that await you the longer you play Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. Things will start to ramp up like needing to clear certain stages within a time limit.

These missions are also present in the challenge modes where you’ll have to do things like complete an entire run without using the helper function or needing to complete them with x amount of fallouts or less. It’ll also apply to the Ranking Challenge mode, too.

Believe it or not, Party Games have a sizable number of missions to take on if you choose to do so. This really is taking the game into a completionist route. An important thing to note here when taking on these missions is that they can only be done solo. Having an additional human player will void the user of any progress.

Missions are important for those who want the platinum trophy or the “all achievements” achievement on their respective platforms. There are a total of 747 missions that span across all major modes in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

The incentives that come with these missions are in the form of points. You’ll need points to purchase new characters, costumes, photo mode options, new modes, and more. We’ll have a guide on how to do that here. Additionally, you cannot repeat challenges.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is going to be released on October 5, 2021. For people who bought the Digital Deluxe Edition, it will be out on October 1.
