With the brand new information that dropped earlier today, players are quite excited for not only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, but also Call of Duty: Warzone 2. It only seems fitting that with the release of this game, a new BR mode will come with it. Here is everything we know so far about Warzone 2, most importantly, its release date.
When Does Warzone 2 Release?
We now know that Warzone 2 will release on November 16, 2022. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 coming out in October, there is no better time to be a COD fan. We know that the first map in Warzone 2 is Al Mazrah.
From what we know so far thanks to possible leaks, the game will feature an interrogation mechanic akin to that from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. It’ll allow players who interrogated a downed enemy to temporarily reveal the locations of their allies.
The leaks also suggest that there will be an inventory system that is reminiscent of Escape From Tarkov’s bag system. Since the game seems to be borrowing some key aspects from other shooters, it’ll create a much different atmosphere than the one currently laid out in the most up-to-date build of Warzone.
Apparently, this new Warzone experience will be something completely separate from the current Warzone. It has not been made clear yet if all the items, CoD points, and other things in your inventory will carry over to Warzone 2. Only time will tell as we get more information leading up to the new battle royale’s release.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is set to release this year. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will release on October 28 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series Consoles, and PC.
