All Classes in Apex Legends, Explained

Apex Legends has plenty of legends to keep you busy getting to grips with the various strategies on offer and some players have been wondering what class each Legend belongs to. This is of no surprise due to the many Legends and of course, others may be more focused on leveling up their weapons. This article will take you through all of the classes in Apex Legends and what they mean.

All Classes in Apex Legends, Explained

Apex Legends introduced Team Deathmatch as well when the class system launched for the game. The previous class system in Apex Legends had been fairly arbitrary we thought — not really contributing anything to the game.

Here to switch things up and hopefully revive a wounded game, the five classes in Apex Legends are Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support. Assault and Recon I believe are fairly understandable, but the other three are more interesting.

We also know that each class has its own unique perk, so there is a lot of benefit in learning about each class’s perks breakdown.

What Class is Each Legend in Apex Legends?

Here are all of the legends in Apex Legends in their designated class:

  • Assault – Mad Maggie, Ash, Bangalore, Revenant, Fuse, Ballistic
  • Skirmisher – Valkyrie, Wraith, Mirage, Horizon, Octane, Pathfinder
  • Recon – Crypto, Seer, Vantage, Bloodhound
  • Controller – Catalyst, Rampart, Wattson, Caustic
  • Support – Newcastle, Lifeline, Loba, Gibraltar
