Having been defeated by a child-looking All For One, Toshinori was ready to die, not regretting having put his life on the line to buy his students a bit more time. Most people around the world were witnessing the event transpire via their television, some appalled by what was happening and others praying for All Might to survive.

Bakugo, who was barely standing after Best Jeanist and Edgeshot saved him from the mortal wounds Shigaraki inflicted on him, shot a look at Deku. Without uttering a word, both boys knew what they needed to do. Bakugo used his explosions to reach Izuku, who grabbed his hand and used the Second’s Quirks to accelerate his friend, sending him flying toward All Might.

Shigaraki mocked the boys, telling them that their efforts would amount to nothing. Despite Deku’s impulse, Bakugo was too far away to save the number one Hero. Shockingly, the prayers of viewers around the world created a strong gust of wind that propelled the boy just enough to save Toshinori in time. Once his idol was safe, Bakugo looked back, stating that it was time for the Heroes to win the war.
