RECAP: Rurouni Kenshin Episode 12 Spoilers and What to Expect in Episode 13
Kenshin gives Aoshi the chance to settle things peacefully, but he refuses. The long-awaited fight begins with Kenshin surprisingly struggling to land even a single hit. The Rurouni turns the tide by switching his grip to the bottom of his sword’s blade, but Aoshi counters with a new technique, Kaiten Kenbu.
Just when it seems that Kenshin has been well and truly defeated, he gets up again, fighting bare handed to land two powerful hits to Aoshi’s throat. Aoshi goes down, but a new threat emerges in the form of Kanryu with a Gatling gun. As Kanryu targets an injured Aoshi, Shikijo rushes in to block the bullets with his body. Get ready for the next episode, “Battle’s End” to learn Shikijo’s fate, witness Team Kenshin and the Oniwabanshu unite against Kanryu Takeda, and be updated on Megumi Takani’s situation!
