Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: How to Fast Travel

The map in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is massive.  We don’t blame you if you would rather fast travel across the world than taking a boat, horse, or by going on foot.  There are only a couple of different ways to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and one of them is going to require that you do a little exploration of the game.

The best way to fast travel to all of the different islands in the game is by finding all the Synchronization Points.  These points function similarly to previous Assassin’s Creed games in that they feature scenic views of the surrounding area and will highlight points of interest for you to explore.  However, they also function as fast travel spots once you’ve synchronized them.

On the map, sync points will have an Eagle Icon.  Once synchronized this eagle will turn from white to green and give you the option to fast travel.  Note that you can only fast travel when you are not in combat.  Simply highlight the icon and then press the X Button (Xbox) or Square Button (PlayStation) to fast travel.

Alternatively, you can fast travel to your boat wherever it is docked by highlighting The Adrestia.  This is denoted by a golden ship icon which when hovered over will allow you to press X or Square to fast travel to where you docked it last.
