Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will automatically save for you very often.  But what about when you want to manually save your game?  You can do manual saves in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Ubisoft calls it a “Quick Save”.

The Quick Save must be done while in the menu.  To quick save, open the menu or map menu and once in that screen you can then press up on the d-pad to save your game.  After pressing up on the d-pad you will be asked whether you want to save and the press the button to confirm.

You can then access your saves from the main menu of the game and they will be listed as auto saves and quick saves.  To access the main menu while in-game you can press left on the d-pad to bring up the main menu, and then select load to load your save.

You can also create a save from the main menu of the game as well.
