Astral Chain: How To Create A Character

PlatinumGames is one of the most well respected developers in the business and they are going all in with their latest game Astral Chain. Rather than giving you a specific character to play as visually, such as with Bayonetta, Astral Chain lets you create your own character at the start of the game. Not only do you get to choose the design itself, but you can choose if you want to have a male or female lead character.

After choosing which sex you want for your lead protagonist, there are some others options to select as well. The first of these is your name, with you able to input whatever you want. If you aren’t feeling particularly creative, you can also choose the random option and keep trying it until you get a name that you really like.

Next up is the character’s hair style, where you have about 15 options to select from. On top of that, you also have the ability to select the hair color for your character as well.

Lastly, you have the option to adjust the color of both your eyes and your skin. Skin tone is much more limited in comparison to the eyes, so select the one you want and you are done with your character creation. If you decide later you want to make changes, you will have the option to do so, but we’ll discuss that in another guide.
