If you’re a female sports fan, you may have a hard time finding a game that will allow you to bring yourself into the game. Hoping that PGA Tour 2K23 might be a bit different, you could be wondering if you’ll be able to use your created character and play through the MyCareer mode where you’ll face off against the biggest names in the sport.

Let’s dive right into the details, and find out if you’ll be able to put yourself up against the all-time greats, or if you’ll once again need to sit on the sidelines while waiting to see if the next big game will let you play. Here’s everything you’ll need to know about playing through MyCareer mode, and if you’ll be able to use a Female Avatar to play through it!

Can You Play As A Girl In PGA Tour 2K23?

Unlike many other sports games on the market, you’ll be able to use a female avatar as you make your way through the countless tournaments that await you in the MyCareer Mode. This is a very nice change of pace —however— it doesn’t mean that it comes without its weird little caveats.

While you can finally make your way through these tournaments, you more than likely are going to be facing off against the boys, since there has only been a few women to make it onto the PGA Tour. This gives you a chance to rewrite history a bit, as you’ll be able to take your created avatar to the top, and show the world that you’ve got what it takes to succeed.

So, while you can go into the MyCareer mode as a woman, you’ll be facing off against the guys that are currently ranked. This means your Rivals will stay the same, no matter which gender you play in the game. However, it’s an improvement, as you normally are not able to play as a Female in these types of games. Small steps, but we’re getting further than we could before!
