Operation Monarch is currently underway in Call of Duty: Warzone, and the event actually has a handful of secret challenges and rewards that players can earn by accomplishing certain feats in the new limited-time mode. Operation Monarch is Warzone’s Monsterverse crossover event, bringing the legendary Titans Godzilla and King Kong to Caldera for a special battle royale mode.
Like most Warzone events, there’s a set of challenges available for players to complete that reward Calling Cards, Charms, and more. If players manage to complete every challenge the event has to offer, they’ll earn the Ancient Rivalry Marksman Rifle Blueprint. However, Activision has teased additional secret rewards “for the brave (or just plain reckless).” Some players have already found a few of these, so here are all the secret Operation Monarch challenges that have been discovered by Warzone players so far.
All Secret Challenges in the Warzone Operation Monarch Event
So far, Call of Duty: Warzone players have found 2 secret challenges in the Operation Monarch playlist. Here’s what you need to do to get these hidden rewards.
- Deal the Most Damage During a Titan Frenzy: Skull Crawler Weapon Charm
- Place 1st in the Operation Monarch LTM: “Titanus Kong” and “Titanus Gojira” Player Titles
These are fairly standard things that will happen during Operation Monarch matches, so most players will stumble onto these rewards without even trying. We’ll update this guide once players discover more secret challenges.
How to Get the Skull Crawler Weapon Charm
Titan Frenzy events take place at the start of every match and at random points throughout the round. Players will be notified ahead of time before they take place. During these events, Godzilla and Kong will rampage and attack vulnerable players on the map. Players can either retreat and wait out the storm or attack and attempt to suppress Godzilla and Kong by dealing damage to the Titans. The squad that does the most damage to the pair of Titans will receive a S.C.R.E.A.M. Device as a reward, and they will also complete a secret challenge that rewards a Skull Crawler Weapon Charm.
How to Get Titanus Kong and Titanus Gojira Player Titles
These rewards come from a secret challenge that is very easy to complete. All you have to do is win a round in the Operation Monarch playlist. There are only 60 players per round in the Operation Monarch mode, and players can enlist the help of Godzilla and Kong by collecting Monarch Intel and calling in Titan Killstreaks during the match. The mode lasts for two weeks, so you can easily get at least one win under your belt before then to obtain these two Player Titles.
Normal Operation Monarch Challenges & Rewards
These are the 8 standard challenges for the Operation Monarch event in Call of Duty: Warzone.
- Play Operation Monarch for 6 Hours: Epic “Ancestral Skull” Charm
- Use a Kong or Godzilla Killstreak Once: Rare “Ancient Remains” Charm
- Use a Kong or Godzilla Killstreak Three Times: Rare “Monarch Eyes Only” Charm
- Deal 500,000 damage to Titans: Rare “Concrete Jungle” Sticker
- Deal 135,000 total damage to Kong in Titan Frenzy Events: Legendary “Team Godzilla” Emblem
- Deal 135,000 total damage to Godzilla in Titan Frenzy Events: Legendary “Team Kong” Emblem
- Collect 3,000 Monarch Intel: Epic “Skyline Crasher” Calling Card
- Place in the Top 15 twelve times in the Operation Monarch Limited-Time Mode: Epic “One Will Fall” Spray
Completing all 8 of these challenges will unlock the Ancient Rivalry Marksman Rifle Blueprint as a bonus reward. This is a Blueprint for Marksman Rifle Bravo, otherwise known as the SVT-40.
How Long Will Operation Monarch Last?
The Operation Monarch event will last two weeks, beginning on Wednesday, May 11 and ending on Wednesday, May 25. The limited-time mode will be available throughout the entire event, so you don’t have to worry about attending a live event at the correct time. The free rewards and challenges will only be available during this two-week period though, so make sure you get all the rewards you want before they’re gone for good.
