Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled: How To Customize Karts

The original Crash Team Racing was very limited with characters to choose from and the lack of any kart customization. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled changes that though, with a much larger roster of characters and the ability to customize your kart to your liking. This guide will detail how you can change up the look of your kart in the game.

How To Customize Karts In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Kart customization in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is purely cosmetic, meaning that no changes you make on the kart will affect performance in anyway. This allows you to design your kart just how you want, which can be done both in Adventure Mode and if you are just trying to do a regular race.

Similar to changing characters, you can access kart customization via the pause menu in Adventure Mode. After pausing, select Customization and then Karts. Now that you are in this area, you can alter the body, wheels, paint, and stickers found on your kart. Simply pick any one of them to bring up the next page, where you can select from any of the options you currently have unlocked. For the items you do not have unlocked, you can hover over them to see just how you can get them in the game as well.

Outside of Adventure Mode, it may not seem as obvious how to access the kart customization. This is also similar to character changing, as you must go to start up a race of any sort and after you pick a track, you should have an option to adjust Karts. This brings up the same menu as in Adventure Mode, so you shouldn’t have much trouble at all picking the design you want for your kart here if you already followed the above steps
