Destiny 2 Shadowkeep – Where to Find Captive Cord, Lunar Battlegrounds Location

The Captive Cord is one of the items that you must recover in order to cleanse the Essence of Failure to get the Arc Logic Auto Rifle (Legendary).  Alongside completing other challenges to complete the cleansing ritual, the Captive Cord can be snagged by heading to the Lunar Battlegrounds.

Where is Lunar Battlegrounds

The Lunar Battlegrounds is located near the Sorrow’s Harbor Landing Zone.  Fast travel to this location and then head across the bridge.  You can use the video below to find the Captive Cord quickly.  Once you’re at the Lunar Battlegrounds, you’ll come to a big open area.  You’ll need to head straight through the valley to another open area where the Captive Cord is at the top of one of the buildings in this area.

Once you’ve got the Captive Cord you will need to complete the other two parts of the Essence of Failure quest to get your reward.  This includes killing 50 enemies with an Auto Rifle and completing activities on the Moon.  Once complete head back to the Lectern of Enchantment to claim your reward, which is the Arc Logic Legendary Auto Rifle.
