Final Fantasy XIV has an expansive online store with a myriad of items, mounts, and more for players to purchase and acquire. Of course, given the fact you will be spending your hard-earned cash on the items, you may want to first try the items before making a definite decision. Whether you’re looking to get some extra Hatching-Tide event gear or want to dress as Lightning in the experience, the online store options can offer you all of that and more. This guide article will take you through the process of how to utilize the FFXIV Dream Fitting feature.

How to View Mog Station Store Items With Dream Fitting

In order to preview the items, there aren’t that many steps to take in order to try the online store items on your character. Firstly, you will want to visit any inn room. For example, if you are a new player in one of the starting cities, whether that be Gridania, Ul’dah, or Limsa Lominsa; you will be able to find an inn room that you can visit. These are found within the main hub areas of each city, where you will be getting regular quests at first within your first hours in the game.

Rent an inn room and your character will be transported to another room. This room will have everything you need for your character to get a good rest and also edit their hair appearance once they have completed a certain unlock quest if they choose to do so among other options. In order to utilize the Dream Fitting option, walk over to the ‘Comfy Feather Bed’ and interact with it.

Select the option that says “Dreamfitting. (Try online store gear.)” and then your character will get into bed and start to go to sleep meanwhile you will be in the Dream Fitting menu and can begin scrolling through the list and trying items on for your character. Now you can try the items from the Online Store that you may plan on purchasing. Whether you’re looking for a new outfit for your bard while playing or any other job/class, you will be able to find numerous outfits here.
