Hot Wheels Unleashed: How to Unlock the Motosaurus

Hot Wheels Unleashed is such a gem of a game, touting an endless possibilities thanks to its high customization for cars and tracks. Of course, many players are interested in the several vehicles this game has to offer. And yes, the Blind Box system in this game can be very frustrating for those who have bad luck/RNG. However, there are cars you can earn in the rotating shop and some you can get in the City Rumble campaign. Here’s where you can find one of them.

How to unlock the Motosaurus in Hot Wheels Unleashed

As you progress in the story, you’ll unlock new paths to new races and events. However, you’ll come across some seemingly dead ends in the form of the purple Secret nodes. They’re a bit cryptic in their messaging, but completing their condition will unlock a new path that expands the map or leads you to a reward cache.

You’ll encounter a node if you stick to the right path and make your way up. When you get to the Terror of the Road quick race event, you’ll come across two paths you can take. If you take the left, you’ll be met with a Secret node that reads “Amazing Drivers: with a special appearance by Motosaurus”

This is a rather straightforward message. It literally requires you to use the Motosaurus and play the Amazing Drivers event. The only question is, do I need RNG to get this car? You can, or get lucky if it’s in your store’s rotation. An alternate way is to take the right path from the Terror of the Road event up until the Speed Test time attack. Complete that and the node next to it will unlock.

The reward spot will give you 1 blind box, the Motosaurus vehicle, and some profile customizations. The Motosaurus is a Rare vehicle that is rather balanced in all of its stats. It’s probably one of the first Rare cars you will get if you have bad luck with the Blind Boxes. It’s a solid one to use in your story playthrough until you get better rides.
