Red Dead Online is the new online component to Red Dead Redemption 2.  Initially the mode will roll out as a beta, but you will access it by looking for an item in the game’s main menu.  Red Dead Online will roll out to people at different intervals depending on which version you purchased and when you played.  Once you’ve gotten access to Red Dead Online you will need to look for an item on the title menu.

To access Red Dead Online you will need to take notice of the title screen.  You’ll want to look for the option to go online at the top right of the screen when at the title screen for Red Dead Redemption 2.

If the option for Red Dead Online isn’t on the title screen for the game you will want to make sure that it has released for you.  Rockstar is deeming the initial launch of Red Dead Online a beta and it will be rolling out between November 27th and November 30th.  Eventually everyone will have access to Red Dead Online who owns Red Dead Redemption 2.

To get the first access on November 27th you will need to have purchased the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2.  For those who did purchase the physical version of Red Dead Redemption 2, they will need to have used the Ultimate Edition code that comes inside the game box.

On Wednesday November 28th any Red Dead Redemption 2 owner that played the game on October 26th will get access to Red Dead Online.  Then on Thursday, November 29 all players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th and October 29th will get access.

Finally, the beta will roll out to all Red Dead Redemption 2 owners on November 30th.

To access Red Dead Online you will want to make sure of a couple of things.  First is that you fall into the one of the categories above if you are trying to access it before November 30th.  Second, you will want to redeem the Ultimate Edition code for a physical version of the game.  Lastly, if you meet those requirements you should see the option to access Red Dead Online from the game’s title screen.
