How to Craft a Boat With a Chest in Minecraft

Recommended Videos

Minecraft now has 1.19 released with The Wild Update making the rounds across the community with excited players delving into everything that is new with the latest update. Among the latest additions, there is even now a boat with a chest that you will be able to craft and this is excellent news for players who have a lot of things to transport across water or bring them along safely in general. This guide article will take you over everything you need to know about how to craft a boat with a chest in Minecraft.

Crafting a Minecraft Boat Chest

The name of the specific boat you will be crafting is “Boat with Chest” and there are only a few things that you will actually need to craft it. It is a very simple endeavor to craft which will no doubt have you creating a stockpile of them in no time! The ‘ingredients’ you will need for crafting this are simply any type of boat and of course a chest.

The more time-consuming part of crafting this item is just getting the crafting ingredients placed in the correct slots. Within the crafting menu, you will need to place your boat in the bottom middle square, then place your chest in the middle square of the crafting section. After this, you will notice that a Boat with Chest has been created for you to retrieve. The name of this will vary depending on what type of boat you used. So if you had an Oak boat, it will be “Oak Boat with Chest” instead.

With the new Grand Warden enemy that is now within the environment, you will certainly be wanting to make sure you have a lot of safe places for your items if you’re planning to explore the new cave areas.

Minecraft is available now and playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
