One of the fastest ways to make money is by looting items in Red Dead Redemption 2.  There are many items that you can sell in the game and you’ll find them through a number of different ways.  You can loot them from houses, loot them off of the people that you kill, you can rob them from people, you can find them through exploration, you can rob horses, carriages, and many other things.

Selling standard items is pretty straight forward, you can take them to any general store vendor and they will give you cash for them.  Selling stolen items is a little bit trickier as you’ll need to find a fence.  The fence vendor is located in different areas in the game, and there are separate fences for stolen items, stolen horses, and stolen stage coaches.

General Store locations can be found in Armadillo, Tumbleweed, Wallace Station, Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Blackwater, and Saint Denis.

Fencing locations where you can sell stolen items are found at Van Horn Trading Post, Rhodes, Emerald Ranch, and Saint Denis.  To sell stolen stage coaches you will need to take them to the Emerald Ranch.  To sell stolen horses you will need to take them to the horse fence at Clemens Point.
