The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch added an entirely new feature within the game known as the Chamber Dungeon, which lets you create your own dungeon setups based on what dungeons you’ve completed thus far. There are also some exclusive pieces for you to unlock as well, but they require the use of amiibo to do so. This guide will reveal just how you can get these six amiibo unlocks and what you’re going to need to get them.
There have been a ton of different Legend of Zelda series amiibo over the last five years, ranging from Super Smash Bros., Breath of the Wild, and many of the other entries in the series as well. Alongside the release of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch also came one of the cutest amiibo ever with Link based off of the game, but you’re going to need more than just him to unlock everything here.
The way that the amiibo unlocks work in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is that you’re going to need different five Legend of Zelda related amiibo total. If you want everything unlocked, you’re specifically going to need the new Link’s Awakening Link amiibo to be one of them. The following are the unlocks for each subsequent amiibo if you’re using general Legend of Zelda amiibo.
- First amiibo – Great Fairy’s Chamber
- Second amiibo – Moblin Chief’s Chamber
- Third amiibo – Ball and Chain Trooper’s Chamber
- Fourth amiibo – Winged Item Chamber
- Fifth amiibo – Armos Knight’s Chamber
Now, if you happened to use the new Link’s Awakening Link amiibo as one of those, you will also unlock the Shadow Link Effect for the Chamber Dungeon as we broke down in a different guide as well. If you try anymore amiibo after this point, you will be instructed that you unlocked everything, so sadly this is it for unlock. However, you can still use them for Chamber Dungeon storage as well.
