Collecting new items often opens up new pathways that you could not previously reach, with the Power Bracelet and Pegasus Boots certainly being some big ones to get for that reason. After you finish the third dungeon is the perfect time to go find the Ocarina in the game, and we’ll tell you in this guide exactly where you need to go to find it.

First, head back to Mabe Village when you are done with any other sidequests after Key Cavern. When you get there, go to the Item Shop and head north of it until you find some rocks that you can lift in front of a little structure to the right of the green building with two doors. Enter the building, which is known as the Dream Shrine, and go up the stairs and lay down in the bed.

You will then wake up through a door in a room with some enemies you’ve never seen before known as Arm-Mimics. They work like the Shy Guys we ran into in a previous dungeon, as they mimic your movement. On top of that, the floor on the path can fall apart below you as well.

To get past these enemies most easily, stand in the corner aiming upward and use your Pegasus Boots to charge at them and destroy them all in one guy. Do this to get around the entire room until you get to the bottom middle that you could not reach from the other side due to a rock.

Go up the right stairwell and open the chest for 100 rupees first and then go down, use the Pegasus Boots again to destroy the obstacles in your way and go up the left stairwell and grab the Ocarina from the pedestal.
