Unfortunately due to some connectivity issues, the online servers for MLB The Show 21 are offline at the moment. The development team is currently working on a fix that will hopefully get the game up and running again.
San Diego Studio has mentioned that extended maintenance is needed to be done to fix MLB The Show 21 on October 9th. We’re not sure how long the downtime will be, but it sounds like the game will remain offline for the time being. This is unfortunate due to the fact that today is a Saturday for most players in the United States.
You can read the full maintenance announcement posted down below from the official MLB The Show 21 Twitter page.
Maintenance Announcement
“We’ve received reports of connectivity issues and are investigating. Thank you for your patience.
We’ve identified the issue and are working on a fix now. Unfortunately this fix will require extended maintenance, and the servers will remain offline until it is deployed. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Thanks for your continued patience. Updates to follow.”
We will try and update this post as soon as we can if the servers are back online later today. MLB The Show 21 is out now for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
