Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds Multiplayer Guide: How to Play With Friends

Recommended Videos

As you venture into the fantastical landscapes of Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds, the newest entry in the franchise, you’ll find a beautiful, vast world for you to explore. You’ll be able to join up with friends in this MMORPG adventure in a few different ways, depending on where they reside in the world. If you’re looking to learn the best ways to make this happen, you’ve come to the right place, as we will give you all of the details that you need to find out how to play this game with friends, no matter where they may reside!

How to Add Friends in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds

Before you invite your friends to a group, make sure that you have all added each other to the in-game server. To do this, you’ll need to bring up your Menu, find each other’s usernames, and add your friends.

After this, you’ll be able to see when they are online and get together easier and quicker than ever. Once you’ve added someone to your friend list, you can invite them from the Group tab of the menu.

Select Your Server Carefully

If you’re looking to play this game with your friends, you’ll want to make sure that you are all selecting the same server to play on, which will allow you to coordinate your plans and adventures together. Making sure that you’re all using the proper communication method to make your plans work together is key since if you happen to select different servers, you will not be able to play together.

Using an application such as Discord can make communication easy with a large group of people, with different types of server locations for your region. If you are playing in the North American Region, you’ll be using Jade and Onyx servers, European Regions will be using  Rose and Sage, and Southeast Asian Regions will be using  Aqua and Sand. This does mean that there is some region locking to the game, so you may run into an issue with getting everyone together on the same server.

If you have friends around the globe, some of the players may need to resort to using a VPN to enter into the region that everyone is playing on currently. Make sure that you’ve all settled on where you would like to play, and continue into the world.

Is Crossplay Supported In Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds?

Yes, Crossplay is supported between Mobile and PC, as well as Cross-Progression. This means that any progress that you’ve made on one platform will carry over to the other. You’ll be able to play with your friends if they are on PC, while you game away on your mobile device. This opens up the world for many more players to enter into it, so you won’t have to worry about losing progress if you’re playing on a different platform.

You’ll be able to link your accounts between devices easily, making sure that progress is synced seamlessly across all of the platforms on which you play. Make sure you’ve all decided on where you’re going to play, and get to exploring this gorgeous world, crafted in collaboration with Studio Ghibli!

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds is available now on PC, Android, and iOS devices.
