Update 1.15 has arrived for Outriders, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Update 1.14 solved many issues regarding the game’s stability, fixing many bugs that were causing players lots of pain and discomfort, but the patch was not all bug fixes. The developers improved the visibility of the Brood Mothers Surge AOE skills limits, making it easier for players to know when they are out of range. They also made other changes to some skills, but nothing major. Here’s everything new with Outriders update 1.15.
Outriders Update 1.15 Patch Notes
- Adds support for crossplay with the Windows Store version.
- Fixes a bug that caused the Scrap Grenade and Grand Opening Mods to trigger on every shot.
The developers are hoping to also update the Stadia version soon.
This Outriders update would bring Stadia in line with all other platforms. They are still improving the Stadia crossplay experience, so crossplay between Stadia and other devices will only go live with their upcoming November update.
This short update tries to join Windows Store players with the rest of the available platforms. Letting friends from different platforms play together without having to buy several copies for other systems. Making the co-op experience a lot smoother.
Crossplay is a big thing for any multiplayer game, but more for co-op titles. The fact that you can play with your friends on multiple devices without buying extra copies will bring players back more often. Outriders’ future seems bright, the developers are constantly working on their game, and the fact that they want to bring crossplay to all platforms is a good sign of commitment to the game and fans.
Outriders is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. For more information regarding this update, go to the official Outriders Twitter page.
