But, how do you get one? Let’s twirl our way down below, and find out how you’ll be able to add an Alolan Marowak to your collection quickly and easily!

Bad To The Bone in Pokemon GO

Alola-to-Alola

There are a few different ways that you’ll be able to get your hands on this Pocket Monster in the Alola to Alola event, and one of the easiest ways is to get involved in the Special Research Tasks that will be kicking off on May 25th at 10:00. There are going to be a few different ways to get into these tasks, and while some cost a few dollars to get involved with, you can also get them for free if you’re playing enough.

If you complete all four of the event-exclusive Special Research Tasks before June 1st, 2022 at 9:59 am local time, you’ll unlock an exclusive research story that will allow you to pick between one of four different islands. You can choose Melemele Island, Akala Island, Ula’Ula Island, and Poni Island, each with their unique rewards and events that will follow suit, but if you’re looking to get your hands on an Alolan Marowak, you’ll want to choose the Akala Island Path.

If you choose this specific task, you’ll be able to get your hands on these special items as you complete the tasks that are given to you:

  • Incense
  • Two Incubators
  • Super Incubator
  • Pa’u Style Oricorio Hat
  • Encounter with Alolan Marowak

If you aren’t playing the game enough to make sure that you’ll be able to get to this end goal, you’ll be able to plunk down $4.99 to make sure that you’re able to unlock the event. Since clothing items normally cost Pokecoins, this isn’t a bad deal, since you’ll be able to get the Pokemon of your dreams with this method.

However, if you have captured enough Cubone, and decide to evolve them during the even that runs from May 25th to May 31st at 8:00 local time, you’ll also have them evolve directly into Alolan Marowak, with an exclusive Charged Attack called Shadow Bone.

Lastly, during the event, you’ll be able to encounter Alolan Marowak during Three Star Raids, so make sure that you and a few friends are ready to bring this big boss down, as you’ll be able to capture one after the raid has been completed.

And there we have it, all of the different ways that you’ll be able to get your hands on an Alolan Marowak during the Alola to Alola event. There are many different ways that you can find one, so you’ll have multiple opportunities to get your hands on this elusive Pokemon!
