The Alolan Geodude community day is right around the corner in Pokemon GO, and players have many new and exciting events to look forward to in the coming days. Like the Stufful Community Day, you’ll have many new tasks to do, new events to get into, and so much more. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Community Day Event for Alolan Geodude!
Alolan Geodude Community Day Schedule
The Alolan Geodude Community Day event kicks off on May 21st, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm local time. Since you’ll only have a few hours to get everything done, make sure that you’re planning accordingly to take advantage of everything this event has to offer!
Can Alolan Geodude Be Shiny?
Yes, you’ll be able to get your hands on a Shiny Alolan Geodude, and we have a helpful guide that gives some great examples of how to get one. Since Shiny Pokemon can be harder to get, make sure that you’ve stocked up on many Incense and Lure Modules to ensure that you’re prepared to catch as many as you can during this three-hour event. Thankfully, during events, shiny chances are increased, so combining incense and lure modules with this event bonus should help you find one a bit easier than normal.
Alolan Geodude Community Day Event Bonuses and Bundles
There are quite a few extra bonuses to take advantage of during this event, so even if you’re not interested in Alolan Geodude, you’ll be able to use these to your advantage for your other Pokemon adventures:
- 3x Stardust for catching Pokemon
- 2x chance to receive Geodude XL Candy from catching Alolan Geodude
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- One additional special trade can be made during the event, and up to two hours aftward
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
- Trades made during the event and up to two hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust
You’ll also be able to take some snapshots of your Pokemon, or wild Pokemon for a surprise event encounter! You’ll also see bonuses for groups that are playing together! If you catch enough Pokemon with the help of a single Lure Module, you’ll an extra boost of 4x Catch Stardust for 30 minutes near that Pokestop. A great way to get out and meet some new players in your community.
You’ll also be able to get yourself a special event bundle that contains a few excellent items. Costing 975 Pokecoins, you’ll be able to get your hands on a Super Incubator, one Lucky Egg, one Elite Fast TM, and a Star Piece. This is a great bundle for those that are looking to have their best Pokemon learn a killer new move, but if you’re just interested in catching Pokemon, you’re in luck as well. During the event, there will be 30 Great Balls available for no cost to players, too.
Alolan Geodude Community Day Special Research Story
You’ll also be able to get your hands on a special Community Day Special Research Story: A Rocky Road for $1.00. You’ll get to access this new and exciting story, which has you learning more about Alolan Geodude, as well as the ability to give a ticket to a friend, which is something brand new for this event!
Alolan Golem Exclusive Attack
If you’ve caught enough Alolan Geodude to evolve it to Alolan Golem during the event, or up to two hours afterward, you’ll be able to get a Pokemon with an exclusive attack. You’ll be able to get Rollout, which is something that you won’t be able to teach your standard Golem and offers 4 power during Trainer Battles, and 14 Power during Gyms and Raids. A valuable attack that can help you bring your opponent to their knees quickly!
