The map in Red Dead Redemption 2 is massive. It features a number of different states and territories, including some familiar locations from the first game. From bustling modern cities, rural towns and settlements, vast wilderness landscapes in the mountains, deserts, swamps and more.
The map in Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be go to guide for treasure hunting, tracking animals, and looking for hidden locations. Accessing the map can be done at any time in the game by holding the pause button.
In RDR2 you will only be able to see the parts of the map that you have actually been to. Exploration will show you different things that are in the area and the map will then update with pencil sketches of animals that are in the area, plants that can be harvested, different structures, towns, fast travel spots, and of course, different missions you can do.
If you want to access the full map right away, you can do so with the “Fog of War” cheat. Enter this cheat in the cheat menu to unlock the full map. You long for sight and see nothing
