Remnant: From the Ashes How to Create a New Character

One of the first things you’ll do when you enter Remnant: From the Ashes is create a new character.  You’ll be able to select your sex, race, hair and eye color, as well as other aesthetic options.  However, if you want to change these things you’re going to need to create a new character.

You can create a new character in Remnant on the main menu before you enter a game. Under the select character tab, you can cycle through your existing characters and select which one you want to use in any given game.

To create a new one, tab over to an open space and you will see a shadow figure next to the Create Character option.  Simply select Create Character and you’ll be taken through the process of customizing your character to something that suits you.

You can create up to four characters in Remnant, each one will have the weapons, armor, traits sets, and mods that you’ve earned in-game.  These items are not shared between characters.  If you need to delete any of your characters you can also do that from the main menu screen underneath the Select Character option it will give you the prompt to delete as well.
