Resident Evil 2 How to Solve Lion Puzzle For Claire

The animal puzzles at the beginning of Resident Evil 2 aren’t too tricky, but they do throw you a curve ball when you start the game as Claire as they aren’t the same as they were with Leon.  In fact they introduce a different way of getting on of the puzzle’s codes entirely.

You’ll need to find a piece of film and then take it to the Darkroom to have it developed and it will give you the combination for the Lion Puzzle to get the Lion Medallion, but you can skip that and use this guide if you prefer.

When playing as either Claire or Leon B you will need to use this code to unlock the Lion Medallion:  Crown, Flame, Bird

If that isn’t self explanatory you can use the image at the top of this post to solve the puzzle but it is only for Claire and Leon on his 2nd playthrough.  The Maiden puzzle and the Unicorn are still fairly straight forward regardless of who you are playing with.

However, if you are having trouble with the standard Lion puzzle, make sure you check your files menu to find the notebook with the puzzle solutions written on it.
