As a way to promote the release of Riders Republic, Ubisoft is holding a Mad Challenge event. This is a multiplayer contest event where players who participate are eligible to win some spectacular prizes. Here is how to get started.
How to access the Mad Challenge in Riders Republic
To get started, you’ll have to download the Free Week trial of the game. The game’s trial file size is rather large, so you may want to get your account linked in the meantime. Head on over to the actual website and click on the Trial Week button. The page redirects you to the 4-hour trial you can play between now and the release of the game.
Then, sign up for the Mad Challenge on the website. Just follow the sign-up instructions on screen. Here, you can link your platform of choice to quickly create a Ubisoft account. Make sure you’re using the same account on the platform you’re playing on.
You should receive an email with instructions telling you how to participate.
Here, in the 4-hour trial, you’ll have to complete the tutorial in its entirety. Luckily, it introduces you into all of the major gameplay aspects that Riders Republic has to offer.
Upon completion, make sure you have accumulated 20 stars for your profile. To get to it faster, you might want to complete as many bonus objectives as possible. This includes playing it on higher difficulties and playing without handicaps. You should be able to hit 20 stars in just over an hour of gameplay, allowing for nearly three more hours to take on other events.
Once you have that done, you should also have Shackdaddy’s multiplayer challenges unlocked. Activate the Mad Challenge at his Bandit Booth back at Rider’s Ridge to participate.
Finally, you have to hit top ten in a Mass Race to beat the Mad Challenge. Upon completing the challenge, you’ll be qualified to be part of a draw to win a Canyon Bike customized for the game and a Gold Edition of Riders Republic.
Riders Republic is going to be released on October 28, 2021. It’ll be out on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X, and PC.
