Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – How To Respawn Enemies

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first single player Star Wars games in ages, with a focus on progression as you play through the game. Enemies do not respawn in the game on their own after a certain period of time, but there are methods of having enemies respawn if you would like. This may be to help get additional XP towards leveling up or just for the challenge. This guide will explain how you can cause the enemies to respawn in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

How To Respawn Enemies

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order tries to remain as realistic as possible for a game where you’re playing with lightsabers and interacting with alien species. This means you won’t see enemies instantly respawning after death just because you walked a little ways away from where you took them down. However, these enemies can be respawned in a few different ways.

The first method of respawning enemies is probably the most common you will experience, which is to just die. If you die, the game will reset and you will return to your most recent checkpoint, whether that is a Meditation Spot or after the game picked a random other checkpoint along the way. The enemies at this point will have respawned, meaning that if you died fighting a group of enemies, prepare to fight them all over again. This also includes quitting out of the game and continuing back at the last checkpoint as well.

Dying is far from the only method of respawning enemies, as that is typically not on purpose. The main purposeful way to respawn enemies is to go find a Meditation Spot and Rest. Doing this will recover your health, Force, and health stims, but it will also cause all the enemies to respawn. This can be a double-edged sword sometime, especially if you had to backtrack to heal after a tough fight only to have to fight them again right after. For those looking to grind for XP, this is definitely the best way to respawn enemies.

The one other way to respawn enemies is to leave a planet entirely in your ship and then return. This will bring back enemies that you have defeated previously, but it’s definitely the most tedious of the bunch to pull off, so you’ll want to look at the others first.
