Super Smash Bros. Ultimate How to Beat Ganon

There are numerous bosses that you’ll encounter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in different game modes like World of Light or as end battles in Classic Mode.  Of these, the most difficult may be Ganon.  If only because if you haven’t played this version of Ganon you might not know what his weakness is.

If you try to attack Ganon head on you’re not going to be able to injure him in any way.  If you take a closer look, however, you’ll see that his tail is glowing green in color.  This is the indicator that this is his weak spot.

Go for Ganon’s green tail to deal damage

Hitting Ganon in the tail is the way to kill him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.  Getting to that tail is another problem entirely.  Ganon has very powerful attacks that he uses which vary from dashing across the screen to pouncing or slashing with his giant sword.

What you’ll want to do is look for an opening to either jump over Ganon to get behind him and start attacking the tail, or you can try to dodge and roll under him to get to the tail.  Either way, you’re always going to want to attack his tail as it’s the only way to deal damage to him.

Ganon’s basic attacks will allow you to either roll under him, jump over him, or, when he winds up for a big charge shot he will leave his tail exposed to you.  You’ll want to see which attack he is doing next and the optimal way to get to the tail without getting hit.

The Ganon boss fight is largely about avoiding his big attacks and sneaking in a couple hits to the tail before he starts prepping for his next attack.
