One of the ways you can unlock new fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is by finding, fighting, and defeating them in the game’s adventure mode, World of Light. However, some of these characters can be pretty hard to find. Chrom from the Fire Emblem series is one such character. Before we get into how to find him in World of Light, be warned that this article will contain spoilers, since you can only find Chrom in World of Light after you’ve defeated the mode’s antagonist, Galeem.

After defeating Galeem, you’ll be transported to a dark world with a whole new map. From the starting point, head to the bottom left of the map. You’ll eventually find a transport panel that will take you to an area called Sacred Land. Here, go to the bottom right of the Sacred Land, which resembles a forest. There is a lake in the middle of the forest, with a treasure chest just north of it. Interact with the treasure chest to get whatever’s inside before walking away again. Return to the chest, and if you stand in just the right space while facing the chest, you’ll be able to interact with it again. Do so, and you’ll be transported to a secret area in the forest where you will find Chrom. Fighting and defeating Chrom will unlock him, allowing you to play as him in World of Light, as well as the other modes Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has to offer.
