Update 1.34 is here for The Division 2 and here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. The update is aiming to fix a myriad of issues that have been plaguing players for a while now and the main ones are invisible players, infinite uses of some skills, and some other fixes as well. In addition to these fixes, there are performance fixes as well as stability ones as well. The Division 2 servers have been taken down in order to perform these fixes. Here’s everything new with The Division 2 Update 1.34.
The Division 2 1.34 Patch Notes
- Addressed a bug that caused players to became invisible if a player detonated the EMP sticky bomb while interacting with a ladder.
- Fixed an issue where players could infinitely use/throw the Shrapnel Trap Skill with no cooldown while having four pieces of the Rigger set.
- Addressed a bug where players could climb over a fence in Coney Island Ballpark and reach a non-playable area.
The Division 2 has been vulnerable to all kinds of bugs since its release and the recent update and players are seemingly finding new ways to break the game every week now. Because of the PVP aspect of The Division 2, the usage of an infinite skill as damaging as the Throw the Shrapnel Skill makes encounters incredibly unfair, so nerfing that is a huge priority here. The invisible player glitch also added a huge amount of problems as the character could not detonate anything while trying to climb a latter and considering how frantic the action is in this game, it’s not a shock that this caused issues.
The Division 2 has maintained a fairly strong player base for a while now, so the constant updates to keep things going smoothly is incredibly important. Despite the constant issues hampering the experience at times, The Division 2 is an incredibly entertaining game that provides you loads of content that only extends with each update. The experience is still a fresh feeling today and with all content on the roadmap going forward, that should continue. We gave it 4/5 stars.
The Division 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. For more information regarding this patch visit the official The Division 2 site.
