One of the most iconic parts of the Wolfenstein series are the wild and crazy guns available to the player and Wolfenstein: Youngblood is no different. Not only are there plenty of weapons for you to choose from, but you can also upgrade each individual one to your liking as well. This guide will explain how you can start upgrading your weapons in the game.
How To Upgrade Weapons in Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Regardless of the type of weapon you are using, there are multiple upgrade options that you can select from in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. To start off, open up your Journal with the View button on Xbox One or the respective button on other platforms. Once you have that open, use the right bumper to move over to the Weapons tab.
Within the weapons tab, first select the weapon that you wish to upgrade. After selecting this, you have options to choose from that actually affect the usage of the gun, as well as the ability to alter the skin on it.
Depending on the type of gun, there may be some variance here in the types of things you can choose from, such as machine gun types having stocks and side arm weapons like the Pistole have grips instead.
Within each of these, you must click on the part of the gun that you want to upgrade and then select what you want to upgrade it with. Make sure to keep an eye on the cost as well, as you have to pick upgrades that are within your means based on the amount of Silver Coins or Gold Bars you have.
Once you purchase an upgrade, it should automatically equip that upgrade to the gun. If you end up not liking how that upgrade is working out, you can purchase another one in that category and switch over to it instead.
